The Department of Elections Brings Voter Registration Opportunities to Vulnerable Residents
Department of Elections
City and County of San Francisco
John Arntz, Director
For Immediate Release
SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, October 21, 2022 – In the coming days, the Department of Elections’ Outreach Team will set up resource tables at facilities serving the City’s most vulnerable residents.
“With the election happening in less than three weeks, our Department is focused on building awareness of voting and facilitating voter registration for members of San Francisco’s vulnerable and hard-to-reach populations,” said Director John Arntz. “Safe and accessible registration and voting options are critical in ensuring that all eligible residents have the opportunity to be heard in this election.”
At the upcoming tabling events, Department personnel will help individuals register to vote, provide information about voting options, and encourage participation in the November 8 Election. Department personnel will also spotlight the opportunity to become a poll worker and recruit those who are interested in serving their communities on Election Day.
