For Immediate Release
SAN FRANCISCO, Sunday, October 30, 2022 – The Department of Elections’ Outreach Team continues to provide information about the November 8 election and to encourage voter participation.
“Our Outreach Team continues to spend time out in the community, distributing information about registration and voting options,” said Director John Arntz. “With less than two weeks left before Election Day, we are focusing on visiting various facilities and events frequented by the city’s most vulnerable residents to raise awareness about participating in this, and every, election.”
Next week, Department personnel will host resource tables and conduct presentations to inform residents that it is not too late to register to vote, explain conditional voter registration process, and emphasize the many ways voters can participate in the November 8 election.
