The Department of Elections Releases Preliminary Election Results Report #12 and Ballot Processing Update for the November 5, 2019, Consolidated Municipal Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Thursday, November 14, 2019 – The San Francisco Department of Elections (Department) issued the 12th preliminary election results report of votes cast for the November 5, 2019, Consolidated Municipal Election.

The Department processed 40 ballots since the previous results report issued on Wednesday, November 13.  The 40 ballots reported in today’s results report are from the canvass of precinct ballots and vote-by-mail ballots for which voters provided updated signatures.   Voters whose signatures were challenged have until the election is certified to resolve the signature-related issues.

The Department has mostly completed the processing of ballots.  If the Department issues additional results reports prior to the certification of the election, the Department will post a notice on its website.
