SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 – Today the San Francisco Department of Elections issued the seventh preliminary election results report of votes cast in the February 15, 2022, Consolidated Special Municipal Election.

Today’s report includes 323 ballots processed since Saturday’s preliminary results report.

Today the Department received 15 vote-by-mail ballots from the United States Postal Service (USPS).  After review, the Department determined six return envelopes were postmarked on or before Election Day and eligible for processing. Today is the last day during which the Department can receive vote-by-mail ballots with valid postmarks from the USPS and count such ballots. The Department will visit the USPS’ facilities tonight at midnight to receive any ballots that were not included in today’s mail delivery to City Hall.

The Department expects to certify the election tomorrow after processing any remaining ballots.

All preliminary results reports are posted on the Department’s website: sfelections.org/feb2022results

When releasing results, the Department also will post summary results, as well as results according to precincts, neighborhoods, and Supervisorial districts, and in multiple formats.
