SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, April 3, 2018 – The Department of Elections reminds voters that they have until Monday, April 16, to request to stop mail delivery of the Voter Information Pamphlet for the June 5 election and read the pamphlet online instead.

Voters may request to switch to electronic delivery at or by calling (415) 554-4375. Those who stop mail delivery will receive a link via email in early May to view the pamphlet online.

The Department posts the pamphlet online in various formats and languages so voters can choose the one they prefer: HTML, XML, and PDF, all of which are available in English, Chinese, Spanish, and Filipino. The English version of the pamphlet is also available in MP3 audio format.

For the June 5 election, the pamphlet is expected to reach approximately 150 pages. In addition to information about the voting process and key election dates and deadlines, the Voter Information Pamphlet includes material required by both state and local law, including the Sample Ballot, candidate statements, legal text of local ballot measures, and ballot arguments in favor of and against each measure.

Further information about the June 5 election is available at or by contacting the Department of Elections at (415) 554-4375.
