The Department of Elections Will Provide Conditional Registration and Voting at Two Voting Centers for the November 5 Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, October 22, 2019– San Franciscans who missed the October 21 deadline to register to vote or update their voter registration still have the opportunity to cast their ballots in the November 5 election!

“After the traditional 15-day registration deadline, San Franciscans can visit one of the voting centers to fill out voter registration forms along with their ballots. Once registration forms are processed, voters’ ballots will be counted and their registration will be in effect for the March 3, 2020, Consolidated Presidential Primary Election. Conditional registration and voting is available now through Election Day, Tuesday, November 5,” said Director John Arntz.  

Starting this Saturday, October 26, the City Hall Voting Center will be open through Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, during these hours:

Monday-Friday through November 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday, October 26–27 and November 2–3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The San Francisco State University Voting Center will be open during these hours:

Saturday and Sunday, November 2–3, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, November 4, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Election Day, Tuesday, November 5, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
