Nomination Period Closes Friday, August 12 for Assessor- Recorder, District Attorney, Public Defender, Community College Board, Board of Education, and BART Board Candidates Running in the November 8, 2022 Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, August 10, 2022 – The nomination period closes this Friday, August 12, 5 p.m., for the following local offices appearing on the ballot for the November 8, 2022 election: Assessor- Recorder, District Attorney, Public Defender, Community College Board, Board of Education, or BART Board. 

(Community College Board, Seats # 1, 2, 3 are for a 4-year term ending in 2027; Seat # 7 is for a partial term ending in 2025.)

The nomination deadline will extend to Wednesday, August 17 for offices for which incumbents do not successfully file nomination papers by Friday, August 12.
