November 3 Election Highlights
To ensure that San Franciscans can exercise their right to vote in a safe manner during the November 3 election, the Department of Elections will mail ballots to all registered voters in October. To receive a vote-by-mail ballot, voters do not need to request or apply for a ballot. To return their ballots, voters can visit usps.com/locator to search for locations of USPS blue boxes and pickup times.
588 polling places will be open in San Francisco for in-person voting and vote-by-mail ballot drop-off from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. To view a list of sites, go to the Voting Site Wait Times Lookup Tool.
