Campaign Services
The Department of Elections facilitates the official filing process for candidates and measures that appear on the ballot before San Francisco voters. We can assist you with running for office, placing a measure on the ballot, submitting an argument for publication in the San Francisco Voter Information Pamphlet, or filing certain campaign finance reports. In addition, the Department maintains public files for current and past elections, available to view and copy at the Department’s office.
For more information, or to request assistance with filing, contact us at (415) 554-4375 or by email using our appointment form.
Candidates who complete filings of their nomination paperwork and submitters of ballot measure arguments are invited to complete this short, anonymous survey to share their experiences with the filing processes and the overall level of customer service.
