SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, June 20, 2016 – The San Francisco Department of Elections today tabulated 4,068 ballots, which are included in today’s results report.  The Department has approximately 1,500 ballots to tabulate.

Today’s results report includes votes from nearly 3,600 provisional ballots and the remainder from vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, June 17, 2016 – The San Francisco Department of Elections must still prepare for counting approximately 5,300 ballots cast in the June 7 Consolidated Presidential Primary Election.

Today’s results report includes votes from the 3,140 ballots tabulated since yesterday’s report.  Today’s report is comprised of votes from nearly 2,800 provisional ballots and the remainder is from vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots.

Today’s report is comprised of votes cast on approximately 1,800 vote-by-mail ballots (VBM) ballots and nearly 1,000 provisional ballots.

Today’s report was comprised of votes cast on 7,654 provisional ballots and the touch-screen voting equipment.  The Department did not tabulate any of the remaining vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots today.

November 8, 2016, Consolidated General Election: Nomination Period for Board of Supervisors Candidates Closes Today

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – The nomination period closes today for candidates running for the offices of Board of Supervisors, Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11, in the November 8, 2016, election.

Candidates must submit all nomination documents, signatures, and fees to the Department of Elections by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, to appear on the ballot.
