SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, July 1, 2019 — On Tuesday, July 9, the Department of Elections will conduct the canvass of ballots cast in the special election to establish a Union Square Business Improvement District (BID).

The canvass will take place immediately after a final hearing before the Board of Supervisors, scheduled at 3 p.m. in City Hall, Room 250. Elections staff will be available outside Room 250 to provide assistance for voters starting at 2 p.m.

The workshop will be hosted by Elections personnel on Thursday, March 3, 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Department’s office in City Hall, Room 48.
