SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 – The Department of Elections reminds voters how to complete and return their vote-by-mail ballots to ensure that they remain secure and can be counted. Election law establishes requirements to make sure that all voters have the right to cast a secret ballot free from intimidation. Voters share responsibility in protecting this right.

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 – The Department of Elections will extend the Voting Center hours – adding weekend hours – to expand voting opportunities for all voters registered in San Francisco.
Starting this Saturday, October 24, the City Hall Voting Center will be open to voters every day through Election Day, Tuesday, November 3.

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, October 19, 2015 – Today is the last day to register to vote or to change any registration information for the November 3 election.
People can check their San Francisco registration status at sfelections.org/toolkit or by contacting the Department of Elections at (415) 554-4375.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, October 2 – On Monday, the Department of Elections will mail nearly 236,000 ballots for the November 3 election to voters who have requested to vote by mail.

SAN FRANCISCO, Thursday, October 1, 2015 – Beginning October 5, any voter registered to vote in San Francisco can vote at the City Hall Voting Center, outside the Department of Elections office on the ground floor. Weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except on the October 12 holiday.
