SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 – The Department of Elections has begun mailing Voter Information Pamphlets for the November 3 election to nearly 427,000 voters.

The pamphlet includes a sample ballot and information about local candidates, ballot measures, the voting process, and key election dates and deadlines.

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, September 21, 2015 – Logic and Accuracy testing of all voting equipment to be used in the November 3 election will begin on Thursday, September 24. Members of the public are welcome to observe the testing, either in person or via live streaming on sfelections.org/live.

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, September 14, 2015 – The Department of Elections has begun sending ballots for the November 3 election to voters who live abroad or are in the military. More than 5,000 ballots were sent last week to those voters via their preferred delivery method: postal mail, email, or fax.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, September 11, 2015– The Department of Elections invites San Franciscans to volunteer as poll workers on Tuesday, November 3. Every election, approximately 2,000 poll workers assist voters in every part of the voting process at polling places throughout the City.

SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, September 2, 2015 –The San Francisco Department of Elections will introduce new HTML and XML versions of the Voter Information Pamphlet starting with the November 3 election. Also, this election will mark the first time that the Department produces and offers the pamphlet in Filipino.
