SAN FRANCISCO, September 18, 2014 – Logic and Accuracy testing of voting equipment to be used in the November 4, 2014, Election will begin on Thursday, September 25, 2014. This process is open to public observation.

Ballots for the November 4, 2014, Election, Are Being Sent to Military and Overseas Voters

SAN FRANCISCO, September 10, 2014 – Today, the Department of Elections starts sending ballots for the November election to voters serving in the military or living abroad.

State law allows mailing of ballots to military and overseas voters as early as 60 days before an election. More than 5,000 ballots will be sent to those voters via their preferred delivery method: postal mail, email, or fax.

Monday, September 15 is the Last Day to Stop Mail Delivery of the Voter Information Pamphlet for the November 4, 2014, Election

SAN FRANCISCO, September 9, 2014 – San Francisco voters have until Monday, September 15, to choose to stop mail delivery of the Voter Information Pamphlet for the November election and read it online instead. The Voter Information Pamphlet for the November election is expected to have 224 pages.

Voters Have a Choice in How They Receive Their Voter Information Pamphlet

SAN FRANCISCO, August 15, 2014 – San Francisco voters can choose how they wish to receive their Voter Information Pamphlet for future elections: online or by mail.

To stop mail delivery of the paper pamphlet in time for the November 4, 2014, election, voters have until Monday, September 15, to make their request. Requests received after September 15 will go into effect for the following election.
