SAN FRANCISCO, July 22 – Beginning Monday, July 28, the Ballot Simplification Committee will conduct public meetings to prepare a fair and impartial summary of each local ballot measure for the upcoming November 4, 2014, Consolidated General Election.

SAN FRANCISCO, July 11, 2014 – The nomination period opens Monday, July 14, for candidates for Assessor-Recorder, Public Defender, Board of Education, Community College Board, and BART Director (District 8) in the November 4, 2014, election. The nomination period closes August 8.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 12 – The Department of Elections has certified the final results for the June 3, 2014, Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election.

After concluding the official canvass of election results, the Department of Elections certified the final official vote totals for all offices and propositions that appeared on the June 3 ballot.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 9 – The nomination period closes on June 10 for candidates running for the office of Board of Supervisors, Districts 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 in the November 4, 2014, election.

Candidates must submit all nomination documents, signatures, and fees to the Department of Elections by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 to appear on the ballot.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 3, 2014 – Today is Election Day for the 2014 Consolidated Statewide Direct Primary Election. Polling places will open for San Francisco voters from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. citywide.

SAN FRANCISCO, May 27, 2014 – The Department of Elections urges San Francisco voters to check their polling place locations as they prepare to vote on Tuesday, June 3.

Voters can find their polling places online at sfelections.org/pollsite. The lookup tool interfaces with Google Maps for easy door-to-door walking, public transit, or bicycling directions from their home to their polling place.
