New Curbside Ballot Drop-Off Stations at City Hall

SAN FRANCISCO, November 1, 2013 – This weekend voters can walk, drive, or pedal to City Hall to drop off their vote-by-mail ballots. Voters can bring their signed and sealed vote-by-mail ballot envelope to special Curbside Drop-Off Stations outside every City Hall entrance. Drop the envelope in the secure box and get an “I Voted” sticker from the Elections staff.

SAN FRANCISCO, November 15, 2013 – The Department of Elections certified the final results for the November 5, 2013 Municipal Election today.

After concluding the official canvass of election results, the Department of Elections certified the final official vote totals for all offices and propositions that appeared on the November 5 ballot.

SAN FRANCISCO, November 5, 2013 – Today is Election Day for the 2013 Municipal Election, and polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. citywide. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Department of Elections by 8 p.m. tonight to be counted.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, July 12, 2013 – The nomination period opens Monday, July 15, for candidates running for Assessor-Recorder, City Attorney, and Treasurer in the November 5, 2013 Municipal Election.

The nomination period closes August 9. Candidates for these offices have until July 25 to submit voter signatures in lieu of the filing fee.
