Early Voting and Ballot Mailing Begin Tuesday, October 9

SAN FRANCISCO, October 5, 2012 – Early voting at City Hall and the mailing of vote-by-mail ballots will begin next Tuesday, October 9. The Department of Elections will mail Voter Information Pamphlets to all currently registered voters by October 8.

Go Green and Opt Out of the Paper Voter Information Pamphlet

SAN FRANCISCO, September 13, 2012 – San Francisco voters have until Monday, September 17 to opt out of receiving the paper Voter Information Pamphlet for the November election. By opting out, voters will receive their voter information online and reduce the resources needed to print and mail the Voter Information Pamphlet.

SAN FRANCISCO, September 28, 2012 – The Department of Elections is currently seeking poll workers for the upcoming November 6, 2012 Consolidated General Election.

Although the Department has already recruited nearly 2,400 poll workers, there is still a need for more responsible and dedicated individuals to serve their community on Election Day.

Early Voting and Ballot Mailing Begin Today for the November 6 Consolidated General Election

These changes are a result of new state and local district lines, and some voters may find themselves in new electoral districts
