SAN FRANCISCO, November 17, 2014 – The Department of Elections selected precincts this morning to include in the manual counting of ballot cards associated with the 1% manual tally as required under California Elections Code (CEC) section 15360(a)(b)(i) which is among the final steps to conducting the official canvass for the November 4, 2014, Consolidated General Election.

SAN FRANCISCO, November 5, 2014 – The Department will release updated unofficial results, including ranked-choice report, at 4 p.m. today. This release will include results from approximately 8,000 vote-by-mail ballots the Department received in the mail yesterday.

SAN FRANCISCO, November 1, 2014 – On Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 576 polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in neighborhoods throughout the City. Over 2,500 volunteer poll workers, many of whom are bilingual, will be waiting to assist San Francisco voters during voting hours.
