SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 – The San Francisco Department of Elections must still review and process approximately 53,600 ballots cast in the September 14, 2021 California Gubernatorial Recall Election.

The estimated number of vote-by-mail ballots to process is 46,000.  The estimated number of provisional and conditional voter registration ballots to process is approximately 7,600.
