Department of Elections Will Canvass Noe Valley Community Benefit District on January 28, 2020

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, January 21, 2020 — On Tuesday, January 28, the Department of Elections will conduct the canvass of ballots cast in the special election to establish a Noe Valley Community Benefit District (CBD). 

The canvass will take place immediately after a final hearing before the Board of Supervisors, scheduled at 3 p.m. in City Hall, Room 250. Elections staff will be available outside Room 250 to provide assistance for voters starting at 2 p.m.

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, January 14, 2020– The Department of Elections is actively recruiting people interested in serving as poll workers in the March 3 election.  

Poll workers are community volunteers who administer voting at neighborhood polling places on Election Day. For their service, poll workers receive a stipend ranging from $180 to $240, depending on the assignment.

FINAL Election Results for the November 5, 2019, Consolidated Municipal Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, November 26, 2019 – Today the San Francisco Department of Elections certified the final election results for the November 5, 2019, Consolidated Municipal Election. 

The turnout for this election was 41.64%, and involved 206,122 of the City’s 495,050 voters.
