June 7, 2016, Consolidated Presidential Primary Election: Department of Elections Begins Processing Vote-by-Mail Ballots on May 24

Notice is hereby given that, for the Consolidated Presidential Primary Election to be held in the City and County of San Francisco on Tuesday, the 7th day of June, 2016, the Department of Elections shall begin processing vote-by-mail ballots on May 24, 2016, at the location given below:

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, May 9, 2016 – Today, Department of Elections staff fielded over 450 voter inquires related to the upcoming June 7 election. Many of these inquiries came from voters who already received their vote-by-mail ballots.

SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, May 6, 2016 – On Monday, May 9, the Department of Elections will open the City Hall Voting Center. Anyone registered to vote in San Francisco can cast a ballot at the City Hall Voting Center during the 29-day voting period prior to and on Election Day, June 7. The Voting Center will be open:

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, May 3, 2016– This weekend, the Department of Elections kicked off poll worker training in preparation for the June 7 election.

The Department’s training team will conduct over 120 training classes and practice labs over the next four weeks to prepare nearly 2,300 volunteers to assist voters in every part of the voting process at 576 locations throughout the City on Election Day.
