SAN FRANCISCO, Wednesday, June 15, 2016 – The San Francisco Department of Elections must still prepare for counting approximately 10,000 ballots cast in the June 7 Consolidated Presidential Primary Election.

Today’s report was comprised of votes cast on 7,654 provisional ballots and the touch-screen voting equipment.  The Department did not tabulate any of the remaining vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots today.

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – The Department of Elections randomly selected precincts this morning to include in the manual counting of ballot cards associated with the 1% manual tally as required under California Elections Code section 15360(a)(b)(i); this process is among the final steps to canvassing of results of the June 7 election.

SAN FRANCISCO, Tuesday, June 14, 2016 – The nomination period closes today for candidates running for the offices of Board of Supervisors, Districts 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11, in the November 8, 2016, election.

Candidates must submit all nomination documents, signatures, and fees to the Department of Elections by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, to appear on the ballot.

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, June 13, 2016 – The San Francisco Department of Elections must still review for counting approximately 20,000 ballots cast in the June 7 Consolidated Presidential Primary Election.

Today’s report was comprised of votes cast on 3,115 vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots.

The Department will report a few thousand VBM ballots daily most likely through Wednesday.

Today’s report was comprised of votes cast on 2,066 vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots. The Department will report a few thousand VBM ballots daily most likely through Wednesday.
