SAN FRANCISCO, Friday, October 26, 2018 –The Department of Elections reminds voters who have not already applied but wish to vote by mail to submit their requests to ensure there is enough time for postal delivery of their ballots.

The Department of Elections Is Recruiting Poll Workers for the November 6 Election

SAN FRANCISCO, Monday, October 15, 2018–With the countdown to the November 6 election underway, the Department of Elections seeks poll workers to help administer voting at neighborhood polling places on Election Day.

Vote-by-Mail Ballots for the November 6 Election Will Arrive in Mailboxes Soon!

Of the nearly half a million registered voters in San Francisco, more than half (approximately 307,000) are permanent vote-by-mail voters. Many more vote by mail for just one election.

In addition to a Sample Ballot, the pamphlet includes information about candidates and measures, voting options, election dates and deadlines, each voter’s polling place address, and other important election resources.
